Join Us at the 2016 Special Olympics SoCal Summer Games

Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12 marks the 2016 Special Olympics, taking place at California State University in Long Beach, CA. We’re proud to have a number of Carrington Associate volunteers on site to lend their support to all the Special Olympics athletes that will be participating in the games, including events such as aquatics, athletics, basketball, bocce, golf and gymnastics. They’ll be giving it their all to win a gold, silver or bronze medal, and we’ll be there to cheer them on!

But more than that, Carrington Charitable Foundation is one of the sponsors of this year’s games! And we hope you’ll join us – not just as a fan, but as a volunteer! We have some volunteer opportunities available at our onsite booth, and we’d love to see you there. To register as a volunteer, follow the instructions here to create a volunteer account. But remember, time is running out – you only have until May 25th to apply!

But Special Olympics Awareness Month doesn’t end with the games. We’d love to hear from you if you volunteer with other organizations that support this worthy cause, which year-round training and competitions to more than 4.5 million athletes with intellectual disabilities. Let’s show our support and help the Special Olympics organization reach their goals!
