Make an Appearance and Make a Difference

It’s officially the season of giving, and at CCF we’re looking forward to marking the occasion by creating and encouraging opportunities for everyone to volunteer in their local communities. Our food drive events have been wildly successful in years past, helping to support local soup kitchens, food banks and shelters that provide sustenance to those in need. But we’d like to take that volunteerism and dedication to spirit a step further this season, and really get some hands-on, face-to-face experience with organizations that really need our help.

Getting out into our local communities gives even greater support to those in need, and offers a more personalized experience to those who can benefit from our help, spreading the message of caring and support faster than office-based food donations. Nothing can replace the feeling you get when you’re assisting in the field, because it gives you the opportunity to interact with the very people you’re helping. The power of that experience resonates throughout the community, and it can be a life-changing moment for you and for those you help. We encourage all of our big-hearted Associates to dive in and experience that for themselves!
