Next Month: 2016 Holiday Drives

Can you believe it’s almost December? The year went by so fast, but don’t worry – there’s still a lot of time to do good!

For our last charitable initiative of this year, we’re focusing on two opportunities in December: Wreaths Across America and Toys for Tots. As we mentioned previously, Wreaths Across America is dedicated to placing a wreath on the graves of Veterans who have passed. There are hundreds of cemeteries in their online database located at their website, and they’re looking for volunteers who can help in placing those wreaths on gravesites on Saturday, December 17th. Using the website, it’s easy to find cemeteries that are local to each Carrington office – and we’d like to encourage you to band together to volunteer for this worthy cause! If you’re planning to put together a group to participate in this Wreaths Across America event, let us know here at CCF.

And as we do every year, we’re working once again supporting Toys for Tots. Every Carrington location is encouraged to sign up to help out with Toys for Tots, which is sponsored by the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve. Soon, we’ll be encouraging Associates to bring new, unwrapped toys to drop in our donation boxes, which will be collected in mid-December and distributed to boys and girls who may not otherwise have a happy holiday. Help to make a difference in a young child’s life – bring in a toy that will help bring them joy!

As the year slowly draws to a close, we want to thank you for all your amazing efforts to support our charities and associations throughout this past year. Let’s close out 2016 with some amazing volunteer opportunities and give generously to the charities that we love!
