Kyle & Ashley Hockenberry Settle into Ohio Home
“I just always wanted to fight for my country; I’d do it all over again if I could,” shared Corporal Kyle Hockenberry, US Army, on the day of his home dedication with his wife, Ashley, in Newport, Ohio in June 2014.
On June 15, 2011, a blast from an improvised explosive device (IED) cost Kyle most of both legs and his left arm. Kyle and Ashley are happy to move into their custom home in their Ohio community and settle into a new life together. CCF is thrilled to have played a part in bringing Kyle and Ashley home. Between the fundraising efforts of CCF and The Carrington Companies donated project management services, we were able to support The Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. program to help make this home build a success.
