Purpose

CCF supports Veteran-focused nonprofits dedicated to improving the mental health of our Heroes and restoring a sense of normalcy as they return to life post service.

CCF has pledged support to the Travis Mills Foundation, a retreat for wounded Veterans and their families to help return a sense of normalcy
after traumatic injuries. Guests can participate in a variety of activities including kayaking, pottery, ropes courses, and golfing.

With the support of the local community, this retreat is uniquely positioned to lead the nation in direct Veteran family assistance, support, and healing. This retreat plays an essential role in recovery, camaraderie, spousal support, re-connection, relaxation, and reintegration.

The Travis Mills Foundation was created to help wounded Veterans, especially amputees, their families, and their caregivers. They are currently limited to post-9/11 wounded Veterans with a primary diagnosis other than Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Applicants are currently sourced through referrals from doctors that work with wounded Veterans or recommendations from past attendees.

CCF is dedicated to supporting like-minded nonprofit organizations that work to ease the transition from military to civilian life. Through its Purpose pillar, CCF aims to assist with restoring Veteran mental and physical health, confidence and reconnection with family after traumatic injuries.
