24th Annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
This year’s 24th Annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is Saturday, May 14. Since 1994, the National Association of Letter Carriers have worked together to collect food on the second Saturday in May to help those in need in their communities. The food is then donated to local food banks and pantries, and distributed to the homeless, jobless, and any other community members that are unable to steadily provide food for themselves and their families. This initiative, now called the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, has collected over 200,000 pounds of food over the past three years!
You can help by leaving food out for your local USPS workers to collect, or make an online donation at stampyourgood.com. Learn more about the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive by visiting them online. And send us photos of the food you leave out by your mailbox! Together, we can help make hunger a thing of the past!
