CCF Honors Fallen Veterans With Wreaths Across America

This holiday season CCF helped Wreaths Across America reach their goal of placing 750,000 wreaths on veterans graves in 2014 by sponsoring over $1,300 in wreath donations to honor our veterans and active military. This year they have launched the “Arlington Wreath Project,” in which they covered all of the graves at Arlington National Cemetery with wreaths on December 13th.

In addition to laying wreaths at cemeteries in locations across the country, Wreaths Across America also organizes a week of events including international veteran’s tributes, ceremonies at State Houses and a week-long “Veteran’s Parade” between Maine and Virginia where they stop along the way to spread their message about the importance of remembering our fallen heroes, honoring those who serve, and raising awareness of their sacrifices.
