Join the 2015 MS Walk
Join Carrington Associates Lisa Wayman and Wendy Grant on “Team Holly” for the Walk Multiple Sclerosis (MS) on April 19th in Carlsbad, California! Every hour in the United States, someone is newly diagnosed with MS, a disease of the central nervous system. Each step brings us closer to a world free of MS and your participation can help the mission to find a cure.
Lisa Wayman started “Team Holly” for her mother, who has suffered from MS for almost 26 years. “I walk along side MS every day and see how it can affect people,” Lisa shares. “This walk is where we can connect and each step we take brings us closer to a world free of Multiple Sclerosis! As strong and positive as my Mom is with her symptoms, I want to empower her on this day and show her how supportive we can be!”
Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms. Multiple Sclerosis interrupts the flow of information between the brain and the body and stops the body from moving. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.
Thank you for your support!
