Karla Anderson Makes Strides for Breast Cancer in Indianapolis

October 22, 2015

On Saturday, October 31st, Karla Anderson of Carrington’s Westfield, Indiana office will be participating in the “Making Strides of Indianapolis” walk to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer. Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society and their groundbreaking research to find a cure, as well as support prevention and treatment services.

Karla is walking for empowerment to honor those who have been affected by the disease and join the fight to find a cure. Through walking, she joins cancer survivors and participants in remembrance of those they have lost and remain united in the mission to end Breast Cancer.

“I believe that one day Breast Cancer will never steal another year from anyone's life,” shares Karla. “Making Strides is not only my opportunity to join my community to fight back against breast cancer, but it is also a way to inspire hope by raising funds and awareness to help those facing the disease. That's why I'm walking.”

Every day, the American Cancer Society helps people take steps to reduce their risk of breast cancer or find it early when it is easiest to treat. They provide free information and services and invest in research to find, prevent, treat, and cure breast cancer. All funds from the event will be directed to the American Cancer Society to support this mission.
