Mayer Brown Hosts Event Celebrating Military Veterans
On March 10th, Carrington Charitable Foundation had the pleasure of attending an event hosted by Mayer Brown in support of our ongoing collaboration with the Gary Sinise Foundation building custom “smart homes” for United States Veterans who have been catastrophically wounded in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. We are so appreciative for the support that Mayer Brown has shown us since day one and for their continued pro bono backing!
Mayer Brown hosted the event to honor American military Veterans and celebrate the work that the firm is doing with the Carrington Charitable Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation to bring our Veterans all the way home. For the past 11 years, The Carrington Companies have worked with the Chicago-based firm. In addition to the work done with The Carrington Companies, Mayer Brown has donated their legal expertise free of charge to the Carrington Charitable Foundation and CCF’s signature program, Carrington House, to accomplish all our housing assistance programs for our Veterans.
In attendance at the event were US Army MSG Cedric King, and Carrington Charitable Foundation’s ambassador, US Army MSG John Masson. We were honored to have both Cedric and John speak at the event about their military experiences and their experience with the Carrington Charitable Foundation and Gary Sinise Foundation programs.
Thank you to Mayer Brown for their continued support and for hosting an event that honors our Heroes!
