Support the Breast Cancer Walk in Indianapolis!

April 16, 2016

Here at CCF, we’re so proud of how our associates are continually involved in outstanding charitable efforts, and how we work together to support one another in these goals. This month, Carrington associate Miranda Endris is pledging her support to the Susan G Komen Foundation by participating in the Race for the Cure in Indianapolis, IN on Saturday, April 16 – and she needs your help to raise funds to support this worthy cause!

Although for the past five years, Miranda has worked with the Susan G Komen Foundation in support of breast cancer awareness and research, participating in this month’s race has a deep personal meaning to her. Miranda will be honoring her grandmother, Lois F. Endris, who is a breast cancer survivor, and walking in support of another family member, Fannie Cochran, who lost her life battling breast cancer. It was estimated that more than 231,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer were diagnosed in 2015, with more than 42,000 men and women expected to die from the disease – and Miranda wants to help ensure that no one else suffers the sense of loss and helplessness that this disease can incur.

Miranda has launched a Carrington team page to help raise funds for her walk. We believe in Miranda and her dedication to the Susan G Komen foundation, so the CCF Board of Directors has pledged to match the total amount raised by the team with a cap of $5,000!

Let’s work together to support this worthy cause and bring an end to breast cancer!
