The 2016 OCBJ Charity Guide Named the CCF Golf Classic #1 for 2015!

February 18, 2016

For five years, the Carrington Charitable Foundation has proudly hosted its signature event: the Annual Golf Classic, benefitting Carrington House and the Veteran’s Airlift Command. In addition to raising just over $1 million at the event last October, we’re proud to announce that CCF was awarded the Orange County Business Journal (OCBJ)’s Top Netting Golf Event in Orange County for 2015!

Each year the OCBJ releases an annual Charity Guide, highlighting the best charity events in Orange County. CCF is honored to have been chosen as the Top Netting Golf Event in 2015, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of Carrington Associates and the local community.

With the money raised in 2015, we can continue to build homes for the catastrophically wounded Veterans through our signature Carrington House Program, giving them a home they deserve and can call their own. In addition, proceeds from the tournament also support the Veterans Airlift Command (VAC), so that our wounded heroes and their families can receive transportation to and from medical treatments through a national network of volunteer aircraft owners and pilots.

“It is so nice to be able to share our success with the Orange County community and help build awareness for the housing needs of our wounded veterans,” says Rosemary Rose, the Chairman of the Board at CCF. “This tournament is an example of how we can all come together combining our strengths and resources to make a difference. We all have something to give back to those who have given so much to protect our freedom.”

We’re proud of all the hard work Carrington Associates have put into making this event a success – and one that just keeps getting bigger and better with every year, helping to support more of those in need. Congratulations to everyone who helped land our annual Golf Classic in the OCBJ’s number one slot for best golf tournament of 2015!
